On-Call System has three roles: teacher, support staff, and administration. Teachers request on-calls, administration assigns free teachers to on-call requests, support staff views and prints on-call sheets.

OCS also tracks minutes worked for the duration set by administration - usually one school year. Teachers and administration can view these minutes. OCS ensures teachers do not exceed their minutes per school year, or number of on-calls per week (Monday to Friday).

OCS is also compatible with imports from supply teacher systems.
